“Join a Club and Make Fun Campus Memories!”

With the start of the 2026 fall semester, the YU campus came alive with renewed energy.

The YU Central Student Club Association held the “2026 Fall Semester Central Student Club Fair” for two days, from September 9 to 10, along Cheonma-ro from the main gate to the open-air auditorium. The club fair is an event where senior members of existing student clubs introduce freshmen and current students to their clubs’ characteristics and activities while recruiting new members.

This year’s fair featured 60 student clubs affiliated with YU’s central student club association across eight categories: liberal arts, sports, community service, academic studies, foreign languages, applied academic studies, arts, and religion. The clubs actively promoted their activities and recruited new members. On September 11, the day following the fair, an Open Club Room event will also be held, giving freshmen an opportunity to visit the club rooms in person.

In addition, during the fair, senior members of student clubs performed busking shows, including performances by band, acoustic guitar, and dance clubs, as well as the Cheonma Cheerleading Squad, adding to the festive atmosphere.

Meanwhile, during the club fair, major campus organizations and groups that attract considerable interest and are frequently used by students also operated promotional booths. These included the Student Support Team, student ambassadors “Yeongdae Sarang,” international student ambassadors, YU Broadcasting Station (UBS), and the Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC), which introduced their respective organizations and promoted their programs and activities.
